A little history behind ESVBibleNerd.Com…
Greetings! Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Jon and I have been blogging for several years and since 2018 or so on the domain esvbiblenerd.com.
Now, you might be wondering where all my posts are if I have been blogging for so long. Well, that’s a bit of a sad story. My hosting service, at the beginning of 2021, just up and vanished. I haven’t figured out if and how to get my content back.
Now, about the name of my blog, ESVBibleNerd.com. That came about sometime in 2016 while I was an active member at what is now Fellowship Church in Immokalee, FL, with my pastor, Timothy Pigg. One day, we were in his office looking at Bibles on evangelicanbible.com when my wife came in and said something like, “You two, get off esvbiblenerd.com and get out here and get to work!” And it has stuck ever since.
