This week has been a good week. God is good.

Why Don’t We Have Good Friends?
This article truly hits home as I know I have almost no close friends, or very few to say the least. I mean, I’ve never had many, but now, it seems nigh impossible to find a close friend, even out of the friends you already have.
My System for Remembering and Re-Encountering What I Read
Tim Challies is a great man of God and a voracious reader of books. So, when he talks about a system for doing something, I listen and learn. So should you. This is a great read!
What God Calls Atheists
“He thus proved the ruling against him right: that a man that does not believe in God doesn’t believe in any authority.” This was a good, and fun, read.
9 Factors to Consider When Choosing Someone to Disciple
The closing lines from this article really sum it all together:
“In all of this, whether you are self-consciously discipling one person or four, make sure that you yourself are growing spiritually, and then help those around you to grow. Both are important, and each contributes to the other.“
I think that this is a most excellent read regarding discipleship.
A Plea to Church Members: Give Your Pastor Grace
“So brothers and sisters, be patient, be loving, bear burdens (don’t add to them), and remember the grace you would want to receive and then give it to your pastor. He needs your support and encouragement now more than ever, would you lovingly offer it to him?”
I agree with this article, with this plea. Too many church members treat their pastors with disdain disguised as love, tough love, and no grace. Remember, Pastors are people too! (Pastors Are People Too is a great book as well).
