Praying for Missionaries in Chad
The first time I heard someone mention the country of Chad, I initially thought it was a joke about “hanging chads” from an election years (decades?) ago. Now, I know that it is a nomadic country on the African continent…and it is in need of the Gospel. This is an incredible article of missionary perseverence in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ!
The Holiness of God and the Sinfulness of Man
R.C. Sproul has been with Jesus for over 3 years now, and he still knocks it out of the park! From his short book How Can I Be Blessed?, this is a great article on God and man!
Augmented Reality Contact Lenses by 2030?
This is an interesting, and ambitious read regarding the next decade of technological advances. AR contact lenses would be the equivalent to the Heads Up Displays (HUDs) people see in video games and sci-fi movies quite regularly. I think the reality of this might be far fetched, at least in this time frame, but definitely interesting to see develop.
To Souls Who Fall Asleep: Six Ways to Stay Awake to God
“The sober-minded are not lukewarm, unimaginative, downcast, uninspiring. They are serious about serious things — about God, about sin, about holiness, about joy. But they’re also humble and self-aware enough to not take themselves too seriously — to admit when they’re wrong, to focus on the needs and interests of others, to ask for help and learn from the wise, to regularly smile and laugh.”
God’s Plan for Corporate Worship – Matt Merker
This a great listen, or read, regarding corporate worship and the importance of the gathering of the saints to do just that, worship.
